Tórshavnar kommuna: Fríggjadagin tann 14. oktober kl 15 verður fjølmentanarvikan 2022 sett í Norðurlandahúsinum. Fjølmentanarvikan er eitt samstarv millum Tórshavnar kommunu og Útlendingastovuna, og miðað er ímóti, at fáa allar kommunur í Føroyum við. Fjølmentanarvikan er eitt átak, ið varpar ljós á og fagnar ymsum mentanum í Føroyum.

Nógv verður á skránni í vikuni, bæði í Havn og kring landið og endað verður við einum felagstiltaki í miðbýnum í Havn tann 21 oktober og veitslu um kvøldið, umframt altjóða guðstænastu í Dómkirkjuni.

Multicultural Week 2022

Multicultural Week 2022 will kick off on Friday the 14th of October at 15. oo in the Nordic House. Multicultural Week is a cooperation between Tórshavnar Municipality and Útlendingastovan, which aims to shed light on the different cultures in the Faroe Islands, through activities and events. All Faroese municipalities are invited to join, and we hope to bring as many participants as possible on board.

The program is diverse and events will be all around the Faroese. The week ends with an End Celebration on the 21st of October at 16. oo in the centre of Torshavn, followed by an international service at the Cathedral in Tórshavn, and festivities at Reinsaríðið in the evening. Follow the program, which will be updated continuously, at integration.fo and torshavn.fo.

Multicultural Week is for Faroese people as well as immigrants. The aim is to work for togetherness and community for all. We have produced an Idea Kit for the week, which is a collection of ideas for activities and events. We hope, that it will be useful for the participants.
